    We once took chairs to the top floor of the Roanoke Memorial Hospital Parking Garage. The view was nice and it was far enough away to be out of the crowd. Standing on the Jefferson Street Bridge used to be a good vantage point but I wonder how that will be this year with the new medical complex buildings in the way.

    I definitely felt it. I woke up feeling the bed shaking and thought our Great Dane, who sleeps on the floor at the foot of the bed was maybe dreaming and kicking the bed. I went right back to sleep. When I woke up this morning, I asked my husband if he felt anything and, of course, he did not. I will now show him the article ... proving that I am not

    The changes will not affect our family as our daughter will be graduating in a few years. I am concerned; however, that Roanoke will be stepping back into the 1950's by not encouraging the same levels of racial integration that we have practiced for half a century. My opinion has always been that Roanoke has a sort of underlying "racist"
