Though retired, I have remained involved in the community. I am continually enriched by the excellent on-going training at the Taubman Museum of Art where I volunteer as a docent. I am active in several other Roanoke Valley organizations and have found more time to exercise, read, and learn how to draw and make jewelry.
Originally from the Midwest, I grew up in a variety of places since my father is a retired Air Force pilot. I worked as a probation and parole agent and later as a stay-at-home mom. I found a commitment to our schools through PTA very rewarding. I eventually returned to work and later retired as a program manager in youth development.
I met my wonderful husband of 31 years before graduating from college. We have lived in the Roanoke Valley for over 22 years and have treasured memories of raising our two amazing children here. They have left the area for college and now work in their professions elsewhere. I have always been a Green Bay Packers fan, but my favorite sports allegiance is to the UNC Tar Heels!

Deb Landgraf is more wise than she would ever let on due to being humble, is more calm, cool, and collected than Clint Eastwood, genuinely respectful of all souls, and some one I admire. Gip
