I am a Korean War vet who saw no combat and never fired a shot in anger. I am also an out-patient of the Salem Vets Medical Center, and have spent several weeks there in-house.

    What type of treatment are the returning vets recieving that differs from older fellows?  What do they need that they are not getting?

    My experience with this center has been complete satisfaction 95% of the time, with  rare appointment confusion creating a long driveto them. Prescriptions have a little worse record.

    Consequently, I wonder if these vets are not being treated appropriately or if there actually is a problem.
